Seeing as the weather has been so optimistic lately, my sister (Odette) and I thought it fitting to take a little trip up to Bond Street for some ‘retail therapy’. However, no shopping trip can be quite complete without a well earned coffee stop! We searched eagerly for an appropriate location to rest our feet and coincidently stumbled into ‘Dollys’ cafe in Selfridges. We both felt it was a tad more upmarket than your standard Starbucks!

I must say, the gleaming cake stand did lure us both in, although the niggling voice in my head made me resist…. After feeling myself experiencing caffeine withdrawal symptoms, I was definitely in need of a fix. I opted for the more classic option: a standard black americano with a side of (soya – my inner vegan;)) milk, whilst Odette opted for the more indulgent option: a hot chocolate. Though, I was certainly envious of it. one day, one day, one day.
Me looking very content with my coffee (albeit the designer eye bags).

Of course the mini photographer within me found it necessary to have a little photo shoot (despite the dirty looks I did recieve…). However, when your coffee looks as pretty as this, I thought it rude not to picture it. So, if ever in need of an instant afternoon ‘pick me up’, I would definitely say Dolly’s (located on the Lower Ground floor of Selfridges) would be worth a visit.
